On Friday, December 14th, at 8 p.m. Lviv welcame Armin van Buuren, a Dutch trance producer and DJ, who was voted the world’s top DJ five times. Since 2001, Van Buuren has hosted a weekly radio show called A State of Trance, which claims to have around 25 million weekly listeners in 26 countries. / У ніч з 14 на 15 грудня Armin van Buuren таки потрапив у Львів і компенсував переживання своїх фанатів феєричним сетом на велотреку СКА. Не буде перебільшенням сказати, що і у Львові Armin van Buuren підтвердив свій статус найкращого DJ планети.

When Angels come down from heaven / Коли Ангели спускаються на землю

Those days in teh yard of teh city council of Lviv Voskresinnia theatre performed "When Angels come down from heaven" show. Visitors could observe the Christmas show with alpnism elements, fire decorations and proffesional permormance. Thousands of Lvivers amd tourists have seen the performance those days (6-9 January 2013). / Цими святами у дворику Ратуші театр Воскресіння демонстрував виставу "Коли Ангели спускаються на землю". Глядачі змогли побачити різдвяну історію із елементами альпінізму, вогняними декораціями та професійною грою акторів. З 6 до 9 січня Коли Ангели спускаються на землю побачили тисячі туристів та львів'ян.

Christmas Season, Lviv 2013

The Spirit of Christmas is coming to Lviv, bringing lots of fun and anticipation of the upcoming festive season – now it’s time to take a break and enjoy your days filled with shopping, dining and socialising. All Leopolitans cherish old traditions and are always eager to take part in Ukrainian Christmas games and other forms of entertainment. This Christmas season offers Leopolitans and guests of the city many interesting events like the traditional festival “The blaze of Christmas star” which re-invigorates an ancient tradition: Ukrainians used to make big (1,5 - 2 meters) Christmas stars, the main symbol of all festivities. The festival took place on January 7th at the Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life (1 Chernecha Hora St.) and on January 8th in the city center (Rynok square, Prospect Svobody, St. George Square).

Symphony Orchestra «Cantabile Orchestra» invites to a concert "Christmas Mystery" on 29.Dec.2012 at 6 p.m., Cultural Arts Center "Lviv Artpalace". Anderson's "Snow Queen" for iPad from A-ba-ba-ga-la-ma-ga / "Сніжеа королева" Андерсона для iPad від видавництва А-ба-ба-га-ла-ма-га

До дня Святого Миколая видавництво "А-ба-ба-га-ла-ма-га" презентувало свою першу анімовану електронну книжку - "Снігова королева" для iPad. Іван Малкович зізнається, що результат перевершив усі його сподівання. / St. Nicholas's Day edition of "A-ba-ba-ga-la-ma-ha" presented its first animated e-book - "The Snow Queen" for the iPad. John Malkovich admits that the result exceeded all his expectations.
